We are fortunate to have Danny Schmidt make a stop in North Bend on his Summer '09 tour.  This is part of our listener supported music series.  We ask for a $12.00 donation per adult with all proceeds going to the musician.  We clear out a big spot in between the greenhouses and ask you to bring you own chair for festival style seating.

Danny Schmidt

Join us the evening of Friday, July 17th for Danny Schmidt from Austin, Texas.  He is considered a troubadour in the tradition of Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Dave Carter.

He delivers his songs with a quiet power, informed by a complex understanding of humanity. In the Spring 2008 issue of Sing Out! magazine, journalist Matt Watroba noted that Schmidt's arrangements are powerful, his performances are laid-back yet energetic, while his lyrics are sheer poetry.
